Millefiore – Opaque (DM06MFO)

The image demonstrates the results that can be achieved using our opaque millefiore, this can add a varied and interesting decorative element to your work.

The sample shown in the image is a Teardrop copper blank. Firstly, the blank was pre-fired with W G Ball’s transparent enamel (477) in order to create a base to add the millefiore. This was then counter enamelled. Next, the millefiore was dipped in a cellular adhesive solution and placed onto the pre-fired Teardrop blank then dried and fired for 2.5 minutes at approximately 810 degrees Centigrade.

Multicoloured glass beads 5 mm in diameter. Apply to a layer of enamel and fuse. Counter enamelling recommended.
